How this works & how it's scored
Daily method
- Identify the most-discussed claim in UK politics that day (PMQs, major speeches, broadsheet coverage, social reach).
- Fact-check it against primary sources first (ONS, NAO, House of Commons Library, Hansard) and established fact-checkers (Full Fact, BBC Reality Check, Channel 4 FactCheck).
- Score it 0โ100 on the truth meter and write a plain-English verdict with the evidence and sources.
- Append it to
data/entries.json; the league recomputes automatically from every entry.

League scoring
- Each figure's average score is the mean truth score of every claim attributed to them.
- Higher = more truthful. The table also shows their best and worst single claim.
- Claims are scored as used; where accuracy depends on the time period, the verdict says so.
